The Return of the Boss Mustang

Not the SAME 5.0 as the 2011GT.
Same BLOCK and ARCHITECTURE!!
Big difference, mmmmkay...
The new 5.0 in the 2011 GT is already based on the Cammer that is in the current FR500C...
In the end, those are two different engines.
Also, transmissions are a bit different...
It's reinforced to last 24 hrs races and last time I bought one for shipping, it retailed at $73000.
The only common point is the 6 spd...
Race cars can't be build cheap if you want to have a shot at a Podium finish.
As far as the 500C, it's still one of the cheapest car to race in its class at roughly $130K.
I say the R and R1 are priced correctly and it could never be a street car anyway (no VIN#).

Fine. I ain't getting in a p$ssing match with you or anyone else...
But I doubt this engine stays at 412 hp, for one thing, and the intake, cams and heads will be different as well.
In fact, I wouldn't be surprised it they just use a Cammer with a few improvements.
After all, the Cammer mill has proved to be bulletproof in 500C in the 420hp range.
The 600hp version in the FR500GT (only 3 built) wasn't very reliable.
Everything is stretched to the limits when you have a 600hp N/A 5.0.
We'll see...
