Mine developed a slight whine after about 1000 miles. It seems the general consensus is, if it doesn't get louder, don't worry about it.

Now 6000 miles later, it's still the same level of whine.

Reviving a thread 2 months later.. but Ford didn't give you crap in regards to the repair of the "wear" items? I was advised in another thread that most likely ford won't replace the parts under warranty?
