Brembo brakes as an after puchase install ....
#2
the brembo option cars only come with brembos up front. regular size rotors out back with normal pads. brembo cars have 14in rotors up front with brembo 4 piston calipers. check me on the caliper though. i think its a 4 piston but im not near my car to go walk out and check.

Its front 14" brembo vented rotors with brembo 4 piston calipers.
rear 11.8" vented rotors
unique electronic stability control tuning
19"x9.0 dark stainless painted aluminum wheels with 255/40/R19 summer-only tires
no spare, mobility kit instead
aggressive suspension tuning - whatever that means.. supposed to handle better. I thought it used to include a strut tower brace?
You could probably have the dealership install most of that, i'd expect it to cost more than the feature costs ($1700) but like someone else said, Brembo doesn't make the best brakes, they just have a big name and big cost associated with that big name. Better off going into the handling section and getting advice on the best aftermarket kit for better braking.

the gt500 brake kit add on is the about $1200 if you buy it aftermarket. i assume you are wanting to autocross or track your car to be considering that upgrade. the boss 302 uses the same brembo brakes as the brembo cars and gt500, they are excellent on the track if you run the correct pads and fluid. no need at all to spend big money on saleen, roush or stoptech kits. even the boss 302 race cars use the factory single piston rear calipers, the rear brakes do very little of the stopping on these cars.

Good write up on the Brembo kit
Personally, I think the P Zero's are an overlooked part of why this package is a draw. While there are definitely better tires out there, these are about the best you can do OEM IMO.

Brembo package: calipers/rotors up front, wheels, tires, differnet sport mode tuning, stiffer springs, better shock valving, better rubber on the LCAs, no spare (stupid mobility kit that is almost worthless, though the air pump works well).
The p-Zeros are fantastic tires....EXCEPT below 40 degress F. (Learned the hard way.)
