Couple Questions
My car does not have the rear spoiler so I am thinking about putting one on. I am thinking either the GT500, or the factory spoiler with camera. I have a GT Premium with Nav package, but no camera. I searched and was not able to find anyone that has added a factory backup camera to their car with the Nav package and got it to work. I saw the threads where ppl were installing and trying to get it to work. Has anyone done this and got it working?? If so, what all do I need?
If that will not work, I think I like the GT500 spoiler. Since my car has no rear spoiler now, I was wondering if anyone knows a ballpark estimate to have the spoiler installed either at the dealer or bodyshop. I want to make sure I don't get reamed when I get it done. I'll get the wing pre-painted from american muscle.
Thanks!

I would do the install and allow a body shop if you're not comfortable. As far as sensor???? you're not in a suburban, you don't need them lol.
In all honesty, the cameras are a waste of money IMO. My wifes tahoe has navi and the camera, we never use it.... Just something in my head makes me look.

Do you have the parking sensors? if so then you shouldn't need the camera, you have a neck.
The nav unit you have will have a plug in on the back for the camera. I doubt that ford has prewired the car for the camera so you will have to be handy with some electrical tape and creative with running/hiding the wires. Go to allfordmustangs.com and in the 2011+ GT technical forum they have an online shop manual. Search through that to figure out what you need to wire up the reverse sensor. Typically there is a wire coming from the nav unit that either needs +12V or -12V signal to switch to the camera view. Figure out what that is then isolate the wires going to your reverse lights and splice it into the right one, unless the manual says otherwise.
