Default Cylinder head temp?

So I just got a brand new 2013 GT, I've had it a week and it's been running flawlessly. I'm sure I'm just being paranoid but does anyone know what the cylinder head temperature should be around. It's been staying pretty steady between 200-215 but today it got up to 223 and it was only 79 outside. Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks

Also one more thing I forgot to mention, I just noticed that when I'm sitting there idling, the rpms start to fluctuate up and down a bit, is this normal or is something wrong. Sorry for so many questions, I don't know a lot about motors and am just paranoid something is wrong already. Thanks for any help

rpms are going to jump a bit when ideling, and new...if it does not clear up in a few days, week at the longest, disconnect batter for ten min then go drive. or look in your manual, there is a procedure for reseting the idel for conditions you just described. no clue on the head temps, i have a 12.

take care,
jag

if it's brand new you dont have to worry till the warranty is about to expire. Hehe..

I'd say drive it hard and fast, if something breaks take it in for repair. If after a few months you think something isn't acting right take it in thats the best part of owning a new car.

Those temps look fine. If the idle is only fluctuating a little I wouldn't sweat it.
