Default If I ever saw a video like this...

Oh - yeah hear that sexy 5.0 - I bet you can't get any tune to sound as awesome as the sound I have after an oil change. All I can do now is wait while ford picks apart little pieces here and there. First it's a wk, then 2, then 3, now 4...

In all seriousness - I love the car - I just wish mine wasn't built on a Friday

for what its worth I had a ticking in my engine when it was cold and it would go away in about 2 miles. It was hard to have the dealer hear it because by the time I got there it was gone. on one of the attempts I was suprised that the ticking was worse than "normal" it was really bad. they determined it was the barring and replaced the engine.

sadly the ticking is back now and I'm worried its just a matter of time and it will get worse. Not sure if its related, but I did take it to the drag strip maybe 4-5 times and I do drive aggressive. but I can't imagine it would of caused this.

That's ridiculous Jenzie. No motor should sound like that. Call the corporate office and complain. What dealer is it at? They should completely and utterly incompetent! Any mechanic worth his salt could have pinpointed where that ticking was coming from and fixed it by now.

Well at least you know the camaro is a turd, slow turd.

What do you want to bet that Ford starts recommending a 5w40 motor oil in the new 5.0's? I don't see how any of these motors last with 5w20 oil in there.
