It seems this started after I had my elect Autometer gauges installed, not sure if it is related. When I turn my parking lights on, there is a 5-10 second delay,which is strange, then my headlights come on, not parking lights, but headlights. Everything works great except the delay and headlights come on in parking light position. Im thinking wherever the lights for the gauges are tied into, maybe it is causing this. The gauge lights only come on when lights are on, not while lights are off. Any idea why it is doing this?

If you can tell me how the gauge lights were tapped into the stangs harness,
I could tell you whats going on.

The SJB responds to grounding of the switch wires
to determine what to do from the switches position.
If it was thought that the switch sourced the SJB instead
of sinking it like it does when the gauges were wired, the
gauge lights would be grounding the SJB input unintentionally???

I would suspect the wet SJB syndrome but its a 2012 model????

Pull the lights out of the gauges and see if things return to normal...

Im not sure what the sjb is. Im out in the Gulf right now, but when I get in I am gonna trace the gauges light wire and troubleshoot from there. I will keep you informed, thanks for your response brother!

SJB =s SmartJunctionBox.
It controls all the electrical accessories except the power windows.
Its located on behind the kick panel on the passengers side.
