I recently got a 2012 Mustang GTCS. It's the only one in the county, so of course it stands out. Would it be a bad decision for me to get window tint darker than 30% because of the tint laws in Mississippi?

 

North Carolina is 32% and that's what I had done. I just don't think it's worth going darker.

 

Welcome... depends on a few factors really. Do the local police really get people for that?

Also, what color is your car? Interior color?

Different paint shades / interior hues also influence how dark/good the tint looks. I just got 35% all-around on my Sterling Grey / graphite interior and it's a good shade that won't attract a lot of police attention here in CA

 

Black car, black interior. North MS, Desoto county. I have friends with 10 & 5%, and none of them have gotten into trouble yet, I just wanted the opinion of mustang owners because all of those guys drive big Chevy trucks. The darkest I'm looking to go is 20%
