Remote starts can be a little tricky to be honest. I don't know that I would recommend them to the amature DIY'er.

hmm...hey if you don't mind me asking (not that I don't believe you because you said you've installed alarms before) but how did you get that info?...because the brain, speaker, and key fobs don't look the same to me...unless the internals are different??

and the Shelby site says they are made by JBS Technologies
