I had the same problem with my old F-150. Ford decided to add amps into different years to **** with your head, and wiring harnessess won't include them. I basically took back the harness, then just spent 3 hours trial-and-erroring all the wiring connectors. Good luck!

check to see if you have the remote turn on from the deck wired into the amp turn on for the car. It does sound better if you bypass the amp(large octagonal piece of metal with a bunch of holes in it in the bottom center of your dash) but if you do not know what hrns to look for it can be hard to find. Try tracing the wires that come out of the amp and one hrns should go behind the golve box and have a hrns with 8 wires on it, that goes to the speakers and bypasses the amp.

Seen alot of kids come in with their SN95s and they simply forgot to connect the power antenna wire or illumination wire i cant think of which right off the top of my head but I had people returning cd players because of this issue and it got old and they refused to pay for it to be installed so i eventually had to start going out and hooking it up for them to stop them from returning the cd itself. Kinda sucked for me as far as making more money but, better than losing it all you know.
