Default Stock System question

I have a 1993 L.X. 5.0 and i have heard that some of these came with amplified stereos from the factory. I was wondering where it was located and if it was true. When I removed the stock speakers on the magnet it said premium sound. I am planning to run a speaker amp and i didnt want to run it into another amp while hooking up the amped wires back to the front of the car.

Right now in the car I have Infinity speakers all around, Clarion Flip Up HU, Kicker S12L5 and Infinity amp.

Thanks

pull the stock radio and look under it. The amp is an octagonal metal box with a bunch of holes in it. There will be two hrns's going into it. If you follow them one should go towards the back of the glove box and look like the hrns I am pointing to on page 2 of my signature. It is a 8 pin hrns, if you disconnect it with the radio on you should loose sound to everything but the dash speakers. That is your speaker hrns you just disconnected, use it to bypass the amp.
