head unit

Default head unit

my girl friends 98 mustang has a tape player head unit and a cd player rigth below it in front of the shifter. when i put in an aftermarket headunit what do i do about the cd player if i take them both out there will be a empty spot in the dash. is there something that i can put in there to cover the hole up whit.

I believe you can buy a pocket to fit that space at most audio stores.

Corrrect me if i'm wrong, but I think it's called a "din" something. I know the old cd player was a double din.
