Default Cig Lighter Fuse!!!!

Alrighty so i just got a FM transmitter / car charger adaptor for my ipod. but when i plg it in it doesnt charge, the light does come on or anything. i tried to find the fuse under the kick panel but all the fuses i checked were still good. they are numbered 1- 18 i believe. Does anyone know what number fuse is for the cig lighters (not the amp fuse like 30 amp or 40 amp, the number on the fuse box itself!!) i dont have a chiltons so if anyone could help me out i'd really appreciate it. neither one of the 2 lighter plug ins work so im assuming the fuse is bad not both lighters themselves ya know?.. thanks ahead fellas.

if all else fails tap the constant power going to the radio for the cig lighter - they are pretty close to each other and its an easy fix

Cig lighter- #6 30 amp, light green
okay so i replaced this fuse today... (it is in the fuse box under the hood right? not under the dash..)
anyway i replaced the light green 30 amp fuse in the #6 position... and the cig lighter still didnt work... then i replaced the entire cig lighter set up... still didnt work... and the secondary cig lighter isnt working either.... i dont know whats wrong here... is there a second cig lighter fuse under the dash in that fuse box? i know it wasnt the lighter itself cuz i replaced it witha brand new one... so is the wiring going to the fuse bad? or what else could it be... this is getting really annoying... help me plleeeeaase...

thanks agaaaain seight... ya this is the only one with "electronic" in the name... i didnt know where else to post this question lol...

try that adaptor in a different lighter. There is a fuse in it as well in the tip that could be blown. Have you remove the dash recently that might have left the cig lighter unplugged?

Check ALL your fuses as sometimes they loop circuits through one another and you could be suprised what fuse has blown related to your problem.

This one is under your dash dude. Almost all your high current stuff is under your hood, smaller accesories... Under dash.
