Thanks P. I feel good about installing it myself. I am going to go back and clean up a lot when i get a good couple hours. I could use some guidance on how the settings should be on my amp, i am not sure what to turn all those to. The sub is not distorted at all and seems to sound great at volume. Thanks again for all your help.

I have a 05 Mustang GT, had the factory Shaker 500 HU replaced with a Alpine HU and IPOD adapter. Had installation done a local Tweeter retailer to save myself sometime and hair pulling. Pick up my car after the store closed and once inside the car I was really disappointed in the installation. The stock Shaker 500 system was OK, but I wanted something a little nicer than stock. Once I go home and started really listening to the system, I noticed the two subs in the doors weren't working. Can anyone tell me where Ford puts the amp for the door subs in the Shaker 500.

Nice install Joey. You think you don't have any space. I have a Fox body convertible and there is really no space in it. I got my box and it will have to be put in by removing the trunk latch to get it in. I'll post pics in another topic.
