yes you can to put a remote start in a manual car. The way a remote start work there is a neutral safty switch wire that is in the remote start when the instalation is done that wire is grounded and you will be able to start it. there is also a neutral saftey switch in the car when the car in in neutral the switch is grounded so if u ground that wire in the remote start to that switch you will only be able to remote start it when it is neutral
