you could take a meter and measure it to be sure, but there is no reason your car should not be near 14v with the electrical accesories off.

Most of the GM alts I have seen will produce around 14.3-14.5 with little load, but drop like crazy when you load them.

Those voltage gauges aren't the most accurate made but it should be pretty close.

My pathfinder usually charges at 13.5 volts.

Just remember as long as your battery is 12.5 any voltage above that is enough to charge a little.
