Default Remote Lead thru Fuse

What is the best fuse to use for the remote lead? I tried the radio fuse but the amp still stays on when the car is off. Thanks

I think he is asking what wire to use for the amp turn on. It's generally the blue/(white) wire that you'll connect to the long wire that you'll run to the remote turn on, on your amplifier.

If thats not what you were asking sorry, but thats the question I interpreted.

as for which particular fuse to use i don't have a number for you. Take a voltmeter and test a fuse until you found it is off when the key is off and on with the key on. now pull the fuse and see which side is still hot with the key on. Use that side and as he said use a small fuse to protect it....

did this in the system on my f150.. it was one of the fuses that had to do with the radio, dont remeber if it iwas the constant radio power, or intial startup or what.. but the fuse that it was connected to was a 10 amp (is that correct, amp)...
