Default vibrator noise

I just got done installing a kicker comp 12 into my friends svt contour. The owner before him made a JUNGLE out of the wires. He spliced into splices and fused things that didnt need it. I think ive got it all figured out but i keep getting this constant bass sound from the sub, when there should be no bass. A low alosmt humming bass that increases with volume, but it still hits like its supposed to. Any ideas?

Default RE: vibrator noise

wow, your vibrator is making a noise and your sub is making bass? My dad isa tv repairman with a great set of tools, I can fix it......

Is the noise constant with the volume up or down? Does it change with engine rpm? What amp did you hook the sub up to and what impedence(ohms) is the sub?

Does kicker make anything that isn't "Comp"? if not then can't we just assume it and call it kicker? I am comfused when "comp" became part of kickers name but for some reason you never hear one with out the other? lol
