alternator went bad. got new duralast alternator form autozone today. tomorow i will install it. is there anything special i need to know before i take off my serpentine belt?

 

nope, just disc the battery before you start and make sure the pulley has the same # of groves and same size. I've seen some come with a larger pulley that stock and cause charging problems at idle on cars with stereo systems
