Default amp problems

8 guage power to 600w xplod 4channel, had 2 channels going to a pair of 120w max xplod 6x9's and bridged to a bazooka 8"

Ive had the system in for a while and it has worked fine for a while but after i put the new carpet in i can't pay it to work.

it started with a vibrating noise that came from the 6x9's when the bass would hit and after i rewired the connections the amp check light won't even come on, checked all fuses, sterio works fine just runnin on speaker (unhooked amp)

the only thing that changed between the carpet is the ground moved from between seat post and bair floor to a screw and washer on the floor

You answered your own question pretty much.

Your speakers are damaged, or blown.

Move your ground, make sure theres no paint, you want bare metal, use a razor, sand paper or brillo pad to remove anything from your ground area.

The power at half still is more then likely way to much for some sony 6x9's! Especially if you are using a full range driver as a bass source.
