Making the leap into car audio isn't hard, you just have to go and do it. If you need a little guidance with the install letme know becausei did this install a while back and did a write up for it. It takes a little time for the first round but is actually easier than you think.

And go buy a quality wiring kit. Toss that crap.

Actually, go to Wal-Mart and pickup the cheapest amp kit you can find.

Wiring is wiring is wiring.

Well Hisss, then sell me all your Stinger stuff and go to Wal-mart and load your car up with some Scosche wiring if it's no big deal at all...

No,I paid the price, I'm going to keep it.

I just didn't feel like driving to Walmart.

But, back to the main topic.

I disagree... I can remember waaaay back in high school I bought the cheapest stuff I could find for both power and signal. A couple years later I upgraded to better wire and noticed a difference as soon as I was done. I thought it could be in my head until my buddy hopped in my truck and asked if I had gotten a new amp? Don't get the cheapest, certainly do not get the most expensive.
