That package is garbage for the money. Look at the list of equipment seight gave you, they will blow that setup away!!!!
+1
this setup is garbage.
I purchase my kicker amp and sub on ebay for less than that
Got a zx400.1 amp and a 10'sub with 400rms watts.
I think my setup is way better than what you listed and it's a little less than 299.
Plus dual 12' will be tough to fit into your trunk. You will have to remote the amp rack along with the 460 amps.
Kicker is OK equipment, but I would not recommend your setup over any of the setups seight mentioned.
+1
I wasn't comparing my setup with seight's suggestion.
i was comparing mine with the thunder system in that link.

so i take it eD makes pretty good subs? i like their prices.

so I have one more question for the experts here, it may sound stupid but stick with me

is this correct to asume....the red wire (bat. cable) needs to be run to the bat. with a fuse as well, while the black cable (unknown but same size) needs to be run to the radio itself and that small blue one in the pic. needs to be run to the radio unit as well to tell the amp to turn on and off?

if so do I need speaker wire to run to the back speakers? No right? is there anything else I should know?

First off stay away from any CC or BB.

Secondly they should give you money back for the "install job" if your fuse is blowing on any regular basis. I haven't had a fuse blow since I had 2 1200 watt PG amps in my Bonne with no charge system upgrades and only running 4 ga. That was obviously a big no, no and I am obviously alot more experienced now and would never do something like that.

Now yes you can add to your existing 460 system no problem. First before doing any woofersI would upgrade to an aftermarket headunit, Eclipse is an excellent brand to consider, if you are going with something top end Pioneer (or Premier) is a good choice as well. Then once you have done that adding woofers is a super easy process. You simply run your wires, which you said you already have, and hook them up like any other system. No LOC or high-level input adaptors or any other crap that will destroy your quality. You will then be ready to rock out and ready to upgrade your front stage as well.

If you would read my Sticky in the A/V Forum main page all of this would be answered in there for the most part, please refer to that and if you have any further questions, please come back to us for them!

Also you may be thinking, I dont need to have any fancy featured cd player for my car. Well to be honest the factory unit is junk if it hasn't failed out on you yet, dont think it's not going to happen soon, it will. And upgrading your headunit is by far the most effective and efficient way to upgrade your sound. You would be amazed at the quality you will gain from utilizing your factory 460 system with just an aftermarket headunit. You would have thought you upgraded everything.

Quick analogy. Think of an audio system like any car
Headunit = Engine
Speakers/Amps = Drivetrain, suspension
Subwoofers/Enclosure = Blower

Adding woofers (Blower) can make a drastic difference in one aspect, but without upgrading or rebuilding your engine (Headunit) you will never get to experience what you entire car (system) can do.

A good headunit is the foundation of a quailty, reliable stereo.

Honestly, quit giving out garbage information.

The last thing we need here is another Best Buy missionary trying to spread the gospel of car audio.

Speak little, and listen much, ftw.

Can't agree more, Best Buy is is essentially worthless when it comes to Car Audio. And they can't offer much from any other department aside from Media, you guys usually have the cd im looking for. Thank you for that.

And if someone had a gun to my head and I had to pick between BB or CC. I would probably pick Best Buy.

And thats assuming im naked, chained up, and beseverly disoriented.

Otherwise I would never go to BB for Car Stereo.

Actually, I personally have had stuff broken on my cars from BOTH BB and CC, so if I was forced to pick one or choose death....shoot my *** because I ain't neva goina buy car audio from those two as long as I live . Honestly, the only decent chain was Good Guys...they had JL and MB Quart (yea I know big deal...but that is more than the "other" guys could offer and they actually had demo cars that looked halfway decent)...and then they went out of business, so what does THAT say?

And 04 V6, what did they "hook you up" with?
