well. the wire is already in there, although i can not find it in the engine bay at all


if my budget was 300$ and all i want to add to my car is more UMMMP with base, what route should i take?

 

A couple things guys.

Wire is wire. I have used 2 and 4 gauge oxygen free welding wire on a couple installs and it is way better then anything else I could find for the cost per foot.

For signal wires wire is wire, but the poorer quality wires have less insulation, more resistance, and are more likely to cause alt whine.

That package is garbage for the money. Look at the list of equipment seight gave you, they will blow that setup away!!!!

 

When i first purchased the car, i brought it to circuit city and the guys there told me the same crap. They need to rewire everything and wanted $900 for a 300W bazzoka sub and amp including the installation. So what i did was ordered my Pioneer HU on ebay along with kicker amp and sub. I also ordered the installation kit (12v cable, rca cable, speaker wires, etc). I did it myself on a sat. afternoon. The installation was easy. You don't have to rewire anything. I think maybe my car already had an after market HU but it was old. I just connect the the harnesses together. when you buy a new HU, there should be a manual or instruction booklet that you can follow. the hardest part for me was drilling a hole through the firewall. that was a paint in the ***. Also, running the wires from the amp to the HU is also time consumming. Don't ever listen to those suckers at CC (circuit city)or BB (best buy).

this setup is garbage.
I purchase my kicker amp and sub on ebay for less than that
Got a zx400.1 amp and a 10'sub with 400rms watts.
I think my setup is way better than what you listed and it's a little less than 299.
Plus dual 12' will be tough to fit into your trunk. You will have to remote the amp rack along with the 460 amps.

Kicker is OK equipment, but I would not recommend your setup over any of the setups seight mentioned.
