1988 mustang

Hi I have a 1988 mustang 2.3L.And i got a radio wiring kit but after i hooked it up and the radio came on but no sound came out.Has this happend to any1 and how do i fix it.

Is it an Alpine?

And make sure you wire up the remote turn on wire (blue) to the factory harness.

Ok make sure the blue output wire on your new deck is connected to the blue (sometimes blue/white) wire that is on the harness you bought from Wal-Mart.
