Does anyone know where to find a good kit for a double-din radio installation in a 2000 mustang. Most likelly it would consist of the whole *center* dash, because of that horrible piece of plastic dash that separates the tape/radio and cd decks. Just wondering if anyone knew where to get that kit because i really don't want to have to fabricate one myself.

There was a stock piece for double din radio's, I would start at the junkyards if you want it cheap, ebay if you are lazy.....

 

when did they start the double din?

i am looking for the original double din too so i can put a dvd hu.

my brother has an avic d1 which fit in his 04 mustang

check avic411, i think they have something on there for that

 

Go to crutchfield.com website get the number & give them a call. These guys have just about any kit for any car.
