Default Just a couple questions

Ok guys, so i just bought me a Avic-D3, also bought the ipod hookup and bluetooth hookup to go with it as well, and the remote.

Ok i just happened to read this on another forum and don't know if it applies to the S197 mustangs with the Shaker 500/1000 systems or not, but basically someone said that running stock speakers with the stock amps off a aftermarket headunit will cause problems for the headunit, because i know aftermarket headunits are usually rated at 20-25wrms for power per speaker, so is there any issues with the amp in the Avic-D3 interferring with the stock amps powering the speakers in the car.

Now i also know i need to do the 12v<->5v turn on thing so the speakers don't make a popping sound.

Also, i have only ever installed single din headunits never double din, so like do i need a dash kit for it or anything? I'm not sure if the Avic-D3 comes with a bracket to mount it to the car with or not, or if there is a in dash kit i need that is a rectangle to go around the Avic-D3 so i can mount it.

Is that the wiring harness i need to work with a 08 GT with a shaker 500 system?

Well guess i answered one of my questions, this is the dash kit i need to mount the headunit in correct, and this will fit a 08 GT?
