Shaker 500 Aux input
I could not find a description in the manual for the aux input, all I could find was if not installed it will not function. I have an external Sony XM receiver and want to know if ther is a way to plug it into the shaker. I would rather do that than deal with the extra wires associated with an FM transmitter.
I am not 100% certain but I think that the aux input functionality is for another model vehicle. The shaker 1000 has the same thing and it is useless as well.
The only chance I see of it working is if there is a plug that we get someday that we could plug into the back of the head unit and give us the physical input. I bet that's how it is used in what ever vehicle it was made for, maybe for a DVD system, navigation system or external MP3 player connection.
Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping that there was an input jack in the back of the unit, but did not want to start pulling things apart, to find nothing there. Has anyone taken a shaker out to replace, and if so did they notice if there was in input jack?
I've been fooling around with my Shaker 500 for a couple of days now trying to hook up an aux audio connect to it with no luck. If you see the scheme below..I tried hooking into the stereo ins(pins 1&2, 9&10). Still working on it at this moment. If anyone has had any success or has better ideas please do tell.
