second battery
like I said, its only temporary. I should be getting an optima within a week or two, and I only drive on the weekends because I'm at collage.
If you really want a picture of the setup, I can take one this weekend.

YES PLEASE
, if it makes it to the weekend
.... A good pic like that could quickly become a classic with the industry just like the guy that mounted the 6 x 9's in a used KFC bucket.
If you don't do it for me then do it for yourself as when you hit your mid 20's, and see that pic you will remember how silly that extra battery was, how mad you were at me for giving you hell about it, and how I was right.

You mean College? I think you should spend more time there than installing audio equipment, but apperantly neither are your forte. Your little lawnmower battery is the weak spot in your electrical system get rid of it now! Please for the love of god listen to ttcos, ahittz24, and myself. your getting good quality information from 3 people in the audio industry that can help save your car and yourself, temporary or not its still a horrible idea.

Audiophile, just forgot to spell check and I am listening to everyone else. The small battery is coming out this weekend.
Thanks ttocs for giving me hell because it pushed me in the right direction.
I'm getting an optima D34 for $50 from someone who works for the company.

I moused over the thread and seen, I hooked up a second battery, its a lawnmower battery and I refused to come in here because I would have went on ahuge rant. But now noticing who the OP is, and seeing his post's to other people in other threads, it's no surprise.
Do us a favor do not post anything in an effort to help out someone on here asking a question, you clearly have no idea what your doing and I hope you have insurance on your car because your going to be at a point very soon where a fire dept will be involved.
You went to CC to have them critique what your doing? Great idea. I have a little bit of a drinking problem, I think I will consult a herion addict for help with my love for bourbon...
The voltage drops 1/2 a volt... WOW I have a yellow top in my car and my voltage drops from 12.9 to 11.5-12 depending on how loud I have my stereo going. Your car is always going to rise and drop 1/2-1 volt... Get used to it.
And to begin with, you don't add a second battery to dampen the pull of your audio system, unless your running some serious power of course, the only time you should consider adding a second battery is if you are going to be playing the system while the car is not running.
Clearly it didn't, if it did you would be out at your car right now getting that thing out of there. I will laugh and possible cry when you come on here posting thursday that your car is now a pile of ash.

new pulley and fixed ground connections helped a lot. now the voltage only drops .5-1 volt. getting an optima should take that away.
