no, actuallyhell no.... I have seen the alarm and I do not understand why he put his name on it.

What options do you want, and where are you located(any shops nearby?), and how much do you want to spend? You do not want to go cheap on your alarm, nor want a hack to install it. A good alarm with a bad install is only shown up by a badalarm with agood install........

Im also looking for a good alarm for my 95gt. Price isn't really a big issue, as i'm willing to pay good money to keep my car safe. Installation shops arn't really a problem for me, as i'm an auto tech and will probably do the install myself. Sowhat are some good brands/models i should be looking at?

I am not sure of your experience but an alarm install can become difficult really fast and a good alarm with a bad install can only be made worse by a bad alarm with a good install. You will be cutting and splicing into the important circuits that can leave the car undrivable and after installing many many alarms, it can overwelm even the best of security installers.

The other problem is that alarm warrenties are only good when installed by a certified dealer. You can get the alarms for a little less but you need to be prepaired to spend an entire day installing it as the first one never goes smooth. What is your time worth? And will you know what to check if something does go wrong? Alarms are funny, really funny but not in a ha-ha kinda way.

Dei, viper and sidewinder are all the same and they even make clifford which is another good alarm, just different from the 1rst three.

If I'm saving $300 I'll take my time to do it right. And if it can overwelm the best security installers then why would I go to them and have them screw something up?
