my wife got me a new hu. it doesn't have sub outputs, does the shaker 500 amp have a built in crossover? i'm sure i'll more questionsas i get closer to installing it, so if anyone wants to give extra tips for the install feel free. i'm only doing the hu now, maybe amps and speakers later. thanks.

 

yes there is crossovers inside the shaker amplifiers

 

The benfit to have the deck with sub control is that you will be able to turn the subs up and down on the deck to get more bass(this only controls the subs bass and nothing else). If you plug the rcas into the rear or frontoutput on the deck then when you turn the bass up on the deck it turns the bass up on everything, which may lead to distrotion in the speakers(which is the main reason why speakers blow).
