Anybody have these bulbs??
I just ordered some Luminics Ultra White 9007 Headlight Bulbs for my Stang, and was wondering if anybody is currently or have used them before.
Any thoughts? I know they are not HID bright, but better than what the factory has given me.

i got a set on mine, i bought smoked headlights and was using then with my regular bulbs and couldn't see the best at night, i got a set of those and its alot better, but still a bit dark for driving on non lite roads, so i recently bought a hid kit, just waiting 4 it to come in so i can put it in.
so basically there better than regular bulbs, but not a huge difference. but it does give u the nice white look which is nice. if u were happy with the regular bulbs (seeing at night) then u'll like these better.

I bought my Stang with 44K miles on it, (83K now), I have never changed my headlight bulbs. Maybe I should see a nice improvement compared to what I am working with now. I am also thinking of going the smoked headlamp route. How bad does it effect your night visibility with the smoked lamps with your headlamps on?
There is a guy down here that paints and clearcoats headlights, and was thinking of doing it. Pretty nice jobs from what I've seen.
Thanks, Phil

yeh the smoked lights really make it look good. its not like its terrible visibility with the smoked headlights but if you drive any other car u will notice that you can see alot better than yours (even with everything factory, the headlights aren't that grad for visibility). i know othe ppl with smoked headlights and they'll say the same thing. if your gettin someone to smoke ur factory lights u can ask them to only do a light smoke so it'll give u the look you want without losing too much visibility.
but whatever route you go, its note like it will be like u can't see anything just not as good. but u can always get an hid kit if you need to see better but i wouldn't say its a must. i'm just gettin the hid kit cuz i want it more than its benefit.

I recieved the headlight bulbs in yesterday but will put them in on Tuesday. There is a guy down here in Houston that will wet sand my lights and shoot automotive clearcoat over them (3 coats) for $55. I've seen some of his work, very nice. He also smokes with auto paint as well. I'll drop my headlights off on Monday and pick them up Tuesday and see how everything looks.
If I'm pleased, I'll go ahead and order the matching foglights as well.

I didn't smoke my foglights and I was happy that I didn't as they are a big help on dark nights. I only lightly smoked my lights(you can see them on my cardomain page) but they are significantly darker. I remember that originally you couldn't really see when the fog lights were on before smoking the headlights, that is not the case now...
