Default U-Connect in a Mustang?

Any Ford/Chrysler hybrid people out there can help me? I have the Uconnect system off a 2006 Chrysler 300C. It's not the In-Dash System with the Mirror, It's the standalone thing of buttons that you can mount anywhere in the car.

Anyway, I wanted to see if anyone had the install manual or instructions and if it would be compatible with my car. I don't have a stock radio, and before we had the standalone system in the car it always lowered the volume in the car but never connected directly through to the in-dash nav system.

I have a Sony Cd Player. I hope i can install this, as that would be killer.

Anyone have any ideas? Or will this have to be a "project"?
