I am putting an alpine unit in my 94 gt. my car has the stock amp plug and all. the deck i am putting in also has a built in amp does this mean that i have to do away with the stock amp? i bought the harness to wire it all up with the stock amp. my deck comes on and works fine but gets no sound to the speaker. the harness i bought has a amp ground but the deck plug has no wire for amp ground. could this be why i am not getting sound and how to i ground that?

 

check out page 2 of my cardomain page. IT sounds as though you didn't hook up the decks remote turn on to the factory amplifier turn on so the amps are not turning on. Check your blue wires. If you have a turn on pop read the forum sticky on how to fix it.
