Majoy Issues, Please help
Installed a hi low impedance adapter. I am nearly certain I spliced everything the right way regarding that. I bought the Pioneer 760 max 2 channel amp from a buddy who said it works just fine. I hardly doubt he would screw me. The confusing this is that everything is installed correctly as far as I know because a good friend of mine helped me out.
He was however going to run a switch for the remote cable but the switch ended up being a dud. He noted that the amp was getting power but when we were going to test his sub on it, nothing happened. I just today picked up a Kicker CVR 10 and sealed box. I checked the fuses and they are good both in the amp and from the remote wire. What size should the remote turn on amp be? He threw a 7.5 in it and the little rubber cover will not fit over.
My future cousin in law also checked all the wires and said they were all hot and active. I am just really confused. I guess I do not know what is wrong? There is a small rubberized deal on the amp that I would assume lights of blue or something when it is on.
Please help me here guys. I really do not want to have to pay a shop to trouble shoot but then again, I really want to bump.
