Default W7 cuts out???

Hi guys
I have a 12w7 a pdx 1.1000 watt amp a Rockford fostage 1f capacitor and a Pioneer Premier FH-P800BT head unit, when volume turned to a higher volume, the sub will cut out. Any ideas as to what it could be?

When an amp shuts off momentarily and then comes back on, it is almost always a voltage drop that exceeds the amp's protection circuit limits.

Check your ground connections (amp ground and the battery ground). They need to be tight and solid and to bare metal. Also check your fuse holder connections. Somewhere in your power wiring, there is something loose or not making good contact.

watch the lights on the amp - it should have a thermal overload light and thats probably what it is - fosgate amps are crap - anyway mine is - its a 600 db or something from a couple years ago probably 06 and its always done that with any decent subs or when it does handle it it'll cut out after too long, tried mounting it where it could get more air but that didnt help much.
