Default Mach 460 sound system question

Alright i got the mach 460 system (obviously) and I have a quick question. Sometimes, it seems like the amps are on, and I get a really good sound outta the speakers. Like REALLY good, lots of bass and it sounds great. Other times, it seems like the amps arent even on and i have less bass. Any ideas on what's causing this. I like my music loud and sounding good, so this is a big deal to me. lol its like the amps keep switching on and off. very odd. any help would be greatly appreciated!

when the woofers amps are not on, you will know it. What deck are you using in the system, did you wire it with the decks rca outputs or through its speaker output.

the deck is stock... I didn't feel like changing it out although I have like six sitting right next to me because I like the six disk capabilities... the woofers amps are definitely not on at some times.

Best I can think of other than the amp dying is maybe a loose connection. I'd turn it on and get under there and gently wiggle the leads off the amp and see if it cuts out or changes in any way.

alright, i think i found the problem. seems to have fixed it. I noticed some wires connected to my battery terminal were looking bad, and very loose and.. to put it bluntly. they were ****ed up. so i bought a new terminal and made everything nice. now the factory amps are turning on and working fine.
