Could probably find it cheaper elsewhere if you search enough...But $199.00 is a good deal for it. You could wire the subs up parallel (2 Ohm) and push 400w. (someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong...me and Ohms don't get along)

Everything higher is going to get pricey and I have no idea what you would want to spend... I think that amp would push your Pioneers just fine.
Well what do you know! That was actually the amp I was looking at getting lol. I don't know much about amps but I do know that most advertise the max wattage they push out. So how many watts max is that?

you don't look at peak wattage you look at the rms wattage. that amp is a little bit over enough to power them subs assuming them subs are 150 wrms a piece and your running that amp in a 2 ohm load

I thought the RMS was half of the max power of the subs. SO half of 500 is 250... Wrong or right?

I believe thats about right for a 2 Ohm load. 800w peak/ 400w RMS @ 2 Ohm.

200 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (400 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms)
From product page^^
