yeah, dont ask me how, but this morning I disassembled a key and it wont work anymore, any more options?

the pellet that sends the signal is very sensative as to where you need to mount it. It is not uncommong for it to take a hour or more to get it perfect where it will work.

Now sure about your hey problem but that sucks as it will be expensive to replace if it can't be put back together.

I really think it might be better to go to a pro. As I said security isn't something that the average DIY'er knows or can expect to learn with out ALOT of hickups like this along the way. I was not comfortable with alarms/remote starts until I had been doing it for almost a year.
