you will probably need a chrysler antenna adapter to get it to fit.

I feel like that would be something that I would have been told before this whole process began...but maybe not...idk at this point.

This one?

Could you tell me why this is the case as well as which one I want? I did a quick google search of that and found multiple. The problem here is that I need to have the car ready to go by tomorrow because I have class on Monday. It just doesn't make sense that no one would even address this in any install write-ups...it seems like a pretty integral part of the process considering half of the point of this is to be able to use the radio...

I guess I'm going to run over to Best Buy and try that, because I don't know what else to do other than throw everything back together and take it back apart once I get the adapter...I have no idea if Best Buy will have what I need.

This is true. I'm not getting pissed at anyone, just frustrated with this whole process. Thanks for the info though, that should help once I get there. This will also solve the issue of the antenna cable being too short.

Thanks. Hope is restored haha.

Yeah the mustangs started needing the adapter in 07. But that should fix you antenna problem, and Best Buy should have it.

Check the last few posts on page 3. I "solved" the problems I was having, but Idk if my solutions were correct.

Most of the issue now is wire management and getting everything back in order. I just hope everything is connected right so I don't have to take it apart again.

That adapter was perfect. Radio works, dash and console are put back together. Now, routing my GPS antenna wire to the front of the dash, and figuring out this User Interface.

Thanks for all the help. I hope I got everything right.
