Just Ordered my Install Parts
You've been tons of help through this entire process, and I appreciate it all, but that just isn't true. No one ever mentioned anything about needing a Chrysler Antenna adapter for this process. Granted, I just assumed the year of the car wasn't important, and never mentioned it, so it's no ones' fault, but since I've began the process of deciding which Head Unit I wanted to go with this time, no one has mentioned the adapter neccesity to me.
At this point, it doesn't matter though. Everything is hooked up and everything I have been able to test is working properly. I'm not sure if all my connections are correct due to the issues I ran into along with way, but if they aren't, it isn't showing up yet in the functionality of the unit.
So, we are all good at this time. Thanks everyone for all the help. Sorry I'm not better at this, but I had no idea what to expect going into this, nor did I have any clue what was going on until I got a hands on experience.
Oh, one thing. I bought my car used just about a year ago, and the undercarriage was really rusted. I took that to be just typical wear because the car was from Pittsburgh, with all the salt and whatnot, and the rust was just external rust...the interior of all the exhaust components was fresh metal, but when I took the dash apart, I noticed that the metal framework back up in the dash is rusted too. Is this common? Made me think that there might have been water damage or something before I got it that I didn't know about. It's not a huge deal since everything is working fine, but just something that would be nice to know.

If you´re getting water damage from a seal being bad, the passenger side foot-well is where you´d note it. Which is why they added that little plastic flap that goes over the top of the SJB. To try and protect it should that TSB issue occur in our later models (07+ I believe).

Oh okay. That's good to know. My car was in a bit of a wreck before I got it, and it was from the rear, and I know for a fact that the trunk leaks...I just figured it out the other day, because I usually leave nothing in it, but I had some papers in it and they got soaked. I'm not sure how the water drainage system works back there, but I guess it got screwed up when they fixed the car.
That's good to know that the dash rust isn't a sign that worse has happened.
