Aftermarket GPS / Backup camera in-dash recommendations?
I recently purchased a '12 5.0 convertible and have the standard Shaker 500 system. I want a backup camera, and figure it would be best to replace the deck completely as there is no screen currently. What are the best options for this in the 500 dollar price range? I would like to keep my steering wheel functionality, don't really care about XM radio, definitely care for compromising my current audio quality. It should be a capacitive touch screen as well.
The backup camera should have IR for night time, and the lines are also nice!
Any and all input is appreciated!

it's not as easy as the older cars. There's just way to many systems to integrate to. I ended up going with the raxiom in my 09. Cost me about $850 but if I had gone aftermarket the mounting kit and adapters alone for the shaker system would have come out to about $850-900. I'm honestly not thrilled with the raxiom. It's been in the car for 8 months and I'm about to do a warranty claim on it. If I were you I'd save some more cash and look at pioneer. I gave my brother my old pioneer out of my last car and it's 5 years old and been through three cars and has all the features you asked for. Shop Best Buy you can luck out and get an open box and save a ton of cash. But budget a clue hundred at least for add one and adapters to make it work and not be a half a** install. Honestly if this warranty replacement doesn't go well I may be getting the new pioneer app radio or similar.

Well that's disappointing but enlightening! I can do more than 500, but I won't at the moment. Too many other things to buy to satisfy this new 'illness' I contracted upon purchasing my stang - Lead foot syndrome.
