I was wondering if anyone has made a cutom box for the truck of an 87-93 coupe or convertable. I was thinking about the spare tire route to keep the already limited space back there. I am only looking to put 1 12" or 1 10", just something to give some good bass but not competition or anything

 

i wouldn't do a spare tire one, they tend to rattle the **** out of the car. Try and go for a false wall on the side if you wanna save space.

 

I have a 92 vert and I am going to try and put a couple of 8's under the vert shelf in the trunk. I had the 8's in my sport track and they sounded awsome.

 

I built a box for 4 8's that hangs from my rear deck just like the stock mach system did. It is somewhere in my cardomain page. I am almost finished with the amp rack which is going in the spare tire well. I will have 1600 watts, 4 - 8" subs and I did not loose hardly any trunk space from stock. I felt bad about ditching the spare tire until I took it out and realized it was flat!
