Default Auxiliary Input

I have a 2006 Ford Mustang, V6 with Pony Package, Shaker 500 radio and I was just wondering if it came with an Auxiliary Input. I'm pretty sure it doesn't but a friend told me that all Mustangs around this generation Mustang should have it.

I think if it has one it would be in the center console, but I don't think you have one, my 06 GT that I used to have didn't have one.

Ohh...interesting. I checked the center console and found nothing but the 12V outlet, I could only wish there was one Factory. I want to plug in my iPod but without having an Aux input I obviously can't. I don't want to change radios either.

Your Shaker 500 should have a button it that says AUX. You can buy a harness from Crutchfield that you can plug into the back and it will work using your iPod. If you don't have an AUX Button, then you can't use your iPod.

Well shoot. Looks like I'm going with the CDs.

You could always get an aftermarket radio, they are fairly inexpensive, and every radio that I know of comes with the ability to sync with an ipod.
