Can't get that into your car. And just for future reference, those in a Mustang would be pretty loud, but it sounds horrible, I mean complete crap. Make like a dooon doon noise sounds like there mounted in a garbage can. Suprisingly those held up pretty well though I beat the **** out of those things with the PG amp and they held up for almost a month, which was more than my Pioneers, Kenwoods, 5 sets of Power Acoustik's. I had 2 of those Dual things in my trunk, 4 subs in all. They were cheap I wanted loud so I bought em.

Nah sleight I have them in my 4runner. Along with my avic n1 and new xbox hookup to it deal. It's pretty tight, hey you seem to know a lot about car audio, im running my xbox to the avic port thing and then to a power converter and then into my cigarette lighter and sometimes it starts beeping and shuts off like it isn't getting enough power, is it because I need some 8 gauge wire or what?

What size is your inverter? Although you shouldn't have a problem running that because I think it only consumes like 20 watts. I had mine going with a PS2 in it, and the only time I had the shutdown problem was when I had the radio and the subs running hard, at night too with the lights going. Your radio runs off the same power source as your radio does, so when your amp in that is running hard along with other acessories in your car, takes too much power and it can't power your inverter right. Run it strait to the battery if you can, fuse it too. If not I think you could run the power source off one of your caps to lessen the power pull it's taking, instead of running it off the same source the rest of your interior acessories are.

if you have the mach460 factory system, then $300 can add a small compliment of bass. The factory Mach system is not really bad (as far as factory systems go), but there is not much bass to make it full range. The mach system distorts badly at high volume if the bass isto high. Add 2 10" entry level subs and a decent 200-300 watt ("rms" power) on them and it will sound pretty good. JL's are going to be out of your price range but the Rockford Fosgate P1's will work just fine. Install everything yourself and you should just barely come in at your budget.

Ohh I ment to type...Your radio uses the same power source as your cigarette light, so running it directly to your battery should help out with it shutting down. If you have a distribution block in the trunk run the power off that if you have a cap as well.
