Default Fuse ?

i bought my stang with a seemingly new lookin pioneer stereo but it doesn't work. the car has been parked for a whil but in magnificaent condition. could it be that a fuse is blown. if so should i look for the fuse box under the stering wheel

I would first pull out the reciever and make sure all your wires are hooked up right, if at all. Also, check and make sure the fuse on the reciever isn't blown. If thats all good, then check the fuse underneath the dash.

Before you even tear into your dash, check the acc fuse (the cig lighter). That has the same power source as your radio, I had a penny fly into mine once short it out, I thought ohh **** I just fried my stereo, started pulling out the stereo, my friend returned my call and siad hey check that fuse first it's usually that. Take a look if thats not it then pull your radio and so forth.
