i was wonderin what kind of box would bebest to get for some alpine 12' type e series subs,i think the product number is like swe-1241 and theyre rated um 200w rms a piece, i currently have them in 2 individual somewhat sealed boxes,because at the time i couldnt find a dual 12 box to fit in my trunk and I might sell them because i have a bandpass box that fits perfect in my trunk and i want some jls in em....just wondering what kind of box would be best for these, i can get the specs later,
also if someone wants to buy just the subs i think they are like 20 bucks each to ship so 125 for both + 40 shipped unless u live close to north to texas...

 

probaly just a sealed box for the type E's. a band pass box is a very difficult box to be used when swapping differnt subs into it. is the bandpass a premade box? if so i can almost guarentee that the Jls wont work in there. a bandpass or well any type of box should be made for each sub that goes in there cause they will never be just right if they arnt.

 

nah i got it off a guy in town who used to have a mustang, its prolly like 10 years old at least,maybe like 15-20....but it still looks pretty nice and i had some jl w0s in it ,but not very long cuz i was going thru amp/deck problems so i sold em, but i could get some specs for it,what type of box do the jl subs call or or however u would say it,because i like the look of the bandpass but i think the sound of sealed is better,i just want it to look as good as the jls sound....

btw how much better would it have sounded in a dual 12' box for those e's??.....Lucky i took them out before i got my 200$ amp jacked...but thanks for the help,u a sponsor here or just an audio pro..
