Wiring Problems
SDelgado,
I just dealt with this dilemma in my 90 vert. I went through the same BS
that your going through until I found a hint online somewhere. There are a factory
set of rectangular plugs with individual grounds hidden behind the radio/ac area. It
took me a while to finally get out the flashlight and crawl around on the floorboard but
I did and HOLY CHIT!!!!! They are hidden in there. They look exactly like the ones you
unhooked from the ford factory radio. Rectangular, not the square ones coming in and
out of the amp! You pop the little plastic clip holding them to the passenger side of the
a/c frame thingy and pull them down. Simply unhook the harness(which runs to the
square amp plugs) and plug your aftermarket harness right in there. No special amp
bypass this or that. You just plug it in like it's supposed to be. If you look the black
speaker plg has all 8 wires including individual grounds . I just tried mine this past
weekend and finally got tunes! Don't hold me to it if your car year/model is different
But worth a look!
