Sounds good but I may be at the dragstrip talking to the Camaro boys.

 

The D-Back is in limbo as well. Some of my high school friends and I are trying to plan a last minute beach trip from this Saturday until next, but if it falls through then I will try to make it. I have to be in Charlotte Friday night for a graduation dinner, but if there is no beach trip then I'll be free Saturday (both of them).

 

We can't have an anniversary event without one of the founding fathers! can we?

Steve, I forgot about your family commitments when I suggested the 16th. I feel bad that one of our elder statesmen won't be in attendance. That really doesn't sound better than founding father does it?

 

Doesn't the term elder refer to someone of responsibility and wisdom? And we are applying these terms to Steve? The maniacal commie cookie shooter from the PPB?

 

How about this...We will be together Saturday at which time you can pay homage(I just like the way that sounds) to the first member to arrive at the very first get together.( Is there any kind of cash award for that?) If we do that we can dispense with all this name calling and you guys can party again next weekend.

Thanks Alan. We are at the point now where everyone can't make everything every time. A lot of hard work by a lot of great friends is paying off. Thanks to everyone that makes our chapter so successful.
