Anyone interested in starting a central to most meet-up?

Do you know the aperture values on those lenses? What are the big ones you don't really use? Aperture priority is good for stationary objects with good light. Do you pay attention to the shutter speed it sets for different light conditions? What aperture do you shoot at?

I would have to look up the data on Lr5. I would have to guess at the large lenses since I'm still at work, but I think one is 170-300 and the other is 300-500 (Or more). I'll verify when I get home.

You know, I've been meaning to get to a meet up with my camera and take some shots myself. I have been slacking on my photography recently. My Japanese Maple is about to turn though, so I can't wait to shoot that. Might do a little fall scavenger hunt this weekend if the wind doesn't knock all the leaves down today.
I've got a Canon EOS 1D X with a ton of lenses I can play with if I get bored with my camera.
But first we all have to get together and sing "Rain, rain, go away!"

Dang! Nice camera AJ.
I am a strange type of photographer. I don't like taking pictures unless I am directing a shoot lol. Not big on going out and taking random shots or even taking pictures at events.
But yea this rain needs to go away because I need to spray the stang tomorrow!

I'm down if I'm home. Doesn't look like I will be leaving 7 nov so I should be around but need to find some tile work to do until my contract comes up. Let me know what y'all decide and I will try and make it.

Evan,
There's quite a number of us in the Raleigh/Cary/Durham area.
Most of us will go hang at Cars-n-Coffee every month, so holler up if you're interested, we can always arrange a pre-meet location.
Some of us are also members of Stangs-R-Us, Heart of Carolina or Twisted Stallions.
More than enough events going on in the area around Raleigh, so i don't see a reason why we can't make one of them our "official monthly meet-n-greet".
We currently do something of the sorts in Lenoir, so no reason we can't get one started for the Wake Co/Eastern NC area members
