Not all but most. NXS and S2000 are rear wheel. I had to google search that to figure it out. Don't like ricers, never will. American steel is where it's at. Buy American and keep our money in America. I have real heartache buying products from foreign companies the help kill American solders that fought to keep us free and safe. Sorry about the political views. I just needed to say it.

Do you have any pictuers of your 1969 Mach 1?
It sounds like you have good investment.
Big block Mustangs are going for big bucks these days.

Here is a good link I use to decode Mustang Vin #'s

65t5ponycoupe, Well said. I couldn't agree more.

Hold on to that car man. The Mach1's with the smaller engines are pretty common, but the ones with the 428 are a lot harder to find. From what I've seen , the 428 runs the price of them up another 15000 or so.

Yeah my Mach isnt going anywhere, i would never sell it, it would break my dad's heart. I will try to get a pic if i can conn my gramps into goin out there with the digi camera (that is if he can figure out how to turn it on) My all time favorite mustang is the 67-68 Fastback with the 390 GTA, maybe after i get the Mach up and running that will change , my dad said that 428 isnt nothing to take lightly.

Try and find out if your Mach 1 had the 428 SCJ option (Super Cobra Jet). There isn't anything in the VIN that will distinguish whether a car came with a 428CJ or a 428SCJ. If it's an SCJ it will have the oil cooler added. If you have an SCJ this is a very rare automobile and highly desireable (dont get me wrong, even if it's a regular 428CJ it's still a rare car).

As for 1/4 mile times, from the factory, the times I show (with ram air induction / shaker) are 13.90 seconds at 103.32mph. Horsepower was rated at 335 (from the factory), but is probably more like 400 (with ram air). 0-60 in 5.5 seconds.
